The voting method used in an election has a major effect on how well the results reflect the will of the people. This set of demonstration polls uses the set of Democratic candidates in the debates, to help voters consider the kinds of choices and results they might see in a real election (but is not intended to actually show how those candidates might fare in a proper straw poll).
See e.g. A Better Democratic Primary - Jameson Quinn - Medium: how better voting methods could lead to a better nominee
Please try out each of these voting methods, by clicking on one of the options, or by getting a paper ballot from the organizers:
Paper ballots can be printed out from 2020_Dem_pres_candidates_at_June_debate-ballots.pdf
Notes:
Further, these voting method demonstrations (polls) can be easily hacked and are certainly not scientific polls. The ballots and software are not properly designed to provide a good user interface or help for voters.
They are designed simply to help people understand the effects of the types of ballots and tabulation methods, not the software used or the results.
For further information on proper election security and auditing, why voter-verified paper ballots, and why this sort of Internet Voting is never approrpiate, see e.g.
