Name :   Robert Goodson Organization :   N/A Post Date :   9/30/2005 General Comments Comment :   I believe a machine can be made that is purely mechanical, no software involved.  It would count the vote and leave a hard copy there and one for the voter.  No putting it on a hard drive, for later counting, no using the internet.  No hackable way!   I darn well know that I could design a machine that works like this and not be able to be compromised, no-way!  I have the electronic knowledge and have been building proto-types for years, for my own uses and I know digital, and hardware and ways around a software driven system!  That is my two cents worth! (though it may be to late..)
