Below is a listing of these terms which require adjustments and/or clarification in their definitions prior to their adoption by the National Institute of Standards and Technology and United States Election Assistance Commission: E-Voting: Recommendation is for a single definition to refer to voting via a computer network or the Internet. The elections community has generally made the distinction between E-Voting and electronic voting for years.
