Below is a listing of these terms which require adjustments and/or clarification in their definitions prior to their adoption by the National Institute of Standards and Technology and United States Election Assistance Commission:
Valid Vote: phrasing should be adjusted to reflect “in a contest that was not overvoted or undervoted.” Undervotes may conform to jurisdictional criteria and are considered a true reflection of voter intent. | | |
