Avoid designs that require javascript, or hide important text, prevent cut-and-paste, hinder indexing Avoid repeating animation Avoid competing background image It should work ok at 640x480 Must pass standards, e.g. http://validator.w3.org/ No use of frames, since you need a non-frames site also. Show urls at bottom of page like normal, not text hints. Should work ok for lynx. From bonnett@bcn.boulder.co.us Tue Nov 16 11:57:22 1999 Return-Path: <bonnett@bcn.boulder.co.us> Received: from gecko by bighorn.dr.lucent.com (SMI-8.6/EMS-1.5 sol2)

A reminder of the BCN Page Redesign Committee meeting scheduled this Thursday November 18th 6:30pm at BCN. We will meet in the Cont. Ed. Classroom #124, so we can look at sites if we want.
The meeting will kick off a plan that will redesign the BCN Home page.
We will examine the
appearance and goals for the home page. We will discuss what it means
to be a community network.
We will identify what priorities BCN should highlight on its home page.
Our goal is to continue to provide the best possible access to the entire community while making the site appealing to all visitors. Hope you can make it and if not we will keep you informed of our progress. We will provide food.
